I Was Pappa Wood {spooky Poem}

Running the yard it was either him or I
So I filed my shank and prepared to die

I warmed up until they popped the door
“Want some - Get some” I want some more

Stabbing another person is its own high
Collapse of their lung with a gurgling sigh

Fear in their eye as you stick in their throat
I danced with the demons and rode with the goat

I stabbed and stabbed then stabbed him again
Pappa Wood earned his Respect in the pen

This is for the spooky poem tag game.
Christopher Higgins lets listen to your
spooky side, tag your it. Please know
the man i write of in this poem is dead
to me. My family is my life now and my
journey is in service of the Lord. Amazing
what a good woman can inspire in a man
and my wife is the best, I adore her.

WoW Michael, this is spooky, to think the things a man will do, and your heart is so good now, I pray for you every night. Dave and I are good, both healthy again, thank you so much for asking. ~Tru~
