Poetrysoup Poet

I have found many friends on our site
They have helped learn how to live right
Friends encouraged me to find my way
Friends held me in the prayers they pray

During my absence away from this site
My soul and I fought a constant fight
Because deep inside these words are true
I love the time I spend with all of you

I hope you all know without any doubt
I love taking my soul and laying it out
Because when it comes to life it’s my turn
I’ve so much to give so much to learn

I’ve kept my summer free so I can show it
How much I love being a PoetrySoup Poet

Love your words and your inspiring talent for being just you... I recieved my prize today, for your last contest, your book, The Heart of an Addict, and what a wonderful book it is, such raw and powerful poetry, so real, I thank you very much, Michael, and I do miss not seeing you on the soup but at the same time so happy for you that you are living the life you deserve, I heard this line recently "from ruin comes transformation" love Constance

Though we missed you what you were trying to accomplish was way more important in your life at the time. Now that you have more time and are able to be here it will be wonderful. But......keep quality time for the family also. Hope your son in adjusting to his deployment (as best as he can). Thank you Michael for your comment and catching my mistake for me. Love and blessings to you and yours always, Carol YF4L
