Are We Not Lost

Let there be laughter in the tears we cry
Answers found to all the questions why

Why do we all accept what’s being done?
I guess there’s a dark side to everyone

Where should our Nation go from here?
As Liberty’s Statue sheds her tears

The economy, gangs and the endless wars
All protecting the evil within our shores

Evil’s rights tightly bind all of the good
Political whores sale out our neighborhoods

Then they glamorize it all on our T.V.’s
What better way for our minds to be diseased?

When the diseased minds take all control
Have we not lost sight of our nations goals?

I often wonder where, why, how and when
We became a nation of infidels praising sin

I thought in our country the majority rules
If so wouldn’t God still be up in our schools

I agree with you Michael. It is shameful . One day the Lord will hand them all their punishment for what they have done. I guess until then it is not up to us to judge them. But we can tell them we want him back in the schools etc: We are to spread his word. Michael thank you for all your kind comments my friend. I hope things fall into place for you soon so you can be here longer. But don't take time away from your studies. Love YF4L, Carol

Yes, God would still be inour schools if the majority truly ruled. Unfortunately, many of the ills you describe in this provocative write seem to endure regardless of our struggles to prevent them. Great write, MJ. Love, Carolyn

Michael, I feel like they've got me shoved up against a wall, being strip searched just because they say they can. I personally have had enough, telling me I cannot do things I have done all my life, forcing things on me I know are morally wrong. Those clowns are suppose to be supporting the things we value but they are not. I better go take a cold shower. God Bless. Ron

a powerful poem, it's getting like that in uk too, they not allowed to sing songs with Jesus or God in unless it is a faith school and even then they have to study other opinions, there was a song by carmen titled we need God in america again, but he ment in the schools as they had been band to have it in any school I agree the people should have a choice and I hope it is put back in place, God bless you from diane
