Playing Tag With Thunder
Lightning flashes so brightly outside;
rain's falling fast and furious.
Feeling vibrations in my fingers
jolts loosen the window pane.
Delightful, but frightful, quivers follow.
Mummy shudders, shoulders and head;
Sissy covers up her ears.
I'm deaf, my other senses
eagerly expect something after sparks.
I wait and faces change.
Like a sudden tag game,
I see the brilliant flashes.
Sissy tags me, "You're IT!"
I can guess

Tag
3, 2, 1 TAG YOU'RE IT!
I remember hearing on the playground at the age of nine
Lord only knows how much I dreaded this game
The boy next to me tagged the other girl to his left
She is it.
The kids repelled from her as if she was contagious
but it did not matter because
she was it.
Back to me.
I

tag
I remember playing Tag and you were "it".
Eyes that Swallowed Every Smile
Thrown at me Through all the While.
Running, Dancing, Feet above the Ground;
Heaven's Space, filled with Laughters' Sound.
Spilling every Place Between Us,
Filling Up Our Day.
Never Giving Thought to all
The Memories That We Caught.
Or How Our Day Might Play,
Just Being Children, In Our Lovely Way.

hoarder house of Tag and Jer
Gum wrapper here, discarded box there
Acute cleanliness not in the air
Her name was Tag, his name was Jer
They were the perfect hoarder pair
Floating in the crispy cold winter air
Was the stench of a deceased grizzly bear
Visitors could not make it to the stair
Climbing over a twin bed, sofa and broken chair
To others their abode was

A Tadpole Plays Tag
Jane told me of the exchange they had with Derek, earlier that day--guess who showed up that night--hehe.
I told you guys, Jane's a talker, and that's how Clint got smarter.
Along with other fellow workers, that night there were two guys plus me, my opened hatchback doubled for Jane and her sister.
Three guys

Toe Tag
Here I lie in this cooler, this fridge where I would rather not be, but the truth of the matter is you’ve done it, you got the best of me
I lasted as long as I could, and I put up a good fight, but I wasn’t strong enough to withstand the darkness and you were

Tag Your Toe
To die old and weak
Inside a cold steel box.
Do they tag your toe on death row?
It may be a moment though.
The long reach of justice is slow.
As You've taken souls.
And threw away your own
Skeleton man, you are, no parole.
So make no mistake
Time does not stop.
For any of those.
The reaper knows who,
Grows short on

A Tag of Pain
Pain squizzes life out of my paralyzed mind and it feels like a grain of sugar under attack from ants.
Induring comes with an ocean of tears
Never ending and excruciating
Sending my body into manifestational shivers
Needing an escape with immediate effect
Every nerve is hyperbolically numbing
Enough to shut doors when the world outside peeps into my

Tag Renewal
What is this world coming to
Today I went to get my tag renewal
And this year we have to get a new plate
They felt the need to remove the picture
Of the mountains in the background
And give us a solid blue one with white letters
So I get to the counter
And the lady comes up to ask

My Purpose Drawn To Disorder - Them Mind Games Tag You'Re It- My Spokenword
Never mind games tag you're it,

As I run and hide they shoot I die the bullet misses my abdomen

Maga Became Maggot and Did Tag It
a call had been close
after we would put on clothes
went out door we close
when we did tag it
MAGA became a maggot
applied tourniquet
would be sinister
sermon said by minister
about being spinster
what we knew for sure
increased our expenditure
for one more denture
we would meander
creating gerrymander
did raise up dander
poem would write to read
was great everyone agreed
did the dirty deed
