I’m losing a battle I did not choose to fight in,
I have waited nearly fourteen years for freedom. 
There is still no stopping him. 
I lay next to someone I adore and 
He still clogs my thoughts like hair in drainage.
I glance at my love as they sleep,
Peaceful and snoring softly,
And I wish I could

all over again

i step out of the shower
i let the steam moisten my skin once more,
my wet foot steps pitter patter on the cold bathroom floor,
only once will i ever feel this clean 

i stepped into the mirrors view,
no longer scared to hold my gaze at my body
this was me, why shouldnt i look at myself?

There is no importance to your words,
Your voice echoes in the dimly lit room.
The empty room.
No one cares to listen.

They’ll drown you with your voice,

I want to scream.
Take my voice back from its coffin.
The silence is what is making me

i will never understand 
why

you felt the need to take from me 
what i would have given 
willingly.

i tried to be 
ok

you violated me.

but after that night 

your touch never felt the same

i felt suffocated.

The dog also begging to be fed.
To see how her convalescing Mother
is doing!

Habang nilalakbay itong karagatan,
Iba't ibang kulay ng ilaw ang nasisipat
Kadilima'y alay rin sa mamamayan
Puting walang galaw, iba nama'y pakipat-kipat

Parang pasko sa dalampasigan
Ilaw ng mga motor sa dagat, kumukutikutitap
Ang masilaw na puting ilaw, dinaraanan
Sabi'y halika'yo mga isda at kulisap! 

Dasal 'wag lang lumapit ang kidlat
Nang pamilya nami'y huwag mangamba
Hala mga isda pasok at  tuloy sa lambat

Pati na sa larawan milyong diwa ang tinuro
Ganyan ka kamakapangyarikan-Wika

Salamin ng kasaysayan, landas ng bukas
Dugong pagkakakilanlan, ang nilikha
Ginto sa lupa, sa tubig ay hiyas
