Does This Lady Love Her Mister

Because of it, we laughed as grass is green—there is she not common.
Realizing how it is I became, such implied in her with favor.
--
And, being left off distant of, but near to her, I thus became—
whose teeth, white, flashed: the sun as she was now to smile and show them.
--
I was drawn inside by her

Am I on an island launching bottles out to sea
beached at the waterline will someone rescue me
I'm drowning not waving as the boats go by
abandoned at high tide does anyone hear my cry
here am I sad to say writing messages in the sand
marooned a lonely castaway will somebody lend a hand
if I'm on an island

Perennial winner

I am a perennial winner
Cause I refuse to be a loser

I am programmed for victory 
And I vehemently refuse to walk by sight

Nor by what my circumstances look like 
For what is seen is temporary 

I refuse to allow my situation 
To dictate the direction of my prayer or confession

We went to the Haywood County Pride Day celebration where it was wonderful to see
all the people In Waynesville, North Carolina who turned out to celebrate diversity.

We waved our rainbow flags at all the people walking or parading in their cars…
proud to help them celebrate exactly who they are.

When the Pride Parade was over we

Whispers Between Words

I came with hands unclenched and heart awake,
To serve, to teach—for hope and learning’s sake.
I walked among the young with humble aim,
Yet found the fire I brought met not the same.

The gate was open, but the welcome thin,
The smiles spoke less than what stirred within.
Cold winds blew from those I stood beside,
While silence grew where

ravishing revitalized rare riverbank rainbow
sharing and showing jeweled colors that glow
tantalizing turquoise next to perfectly pampered pink
unique every time, a universal feeing and mystical link
