Premium MemberThe **** Star, the Shyster, and the President

Like a scorned ex-stripper hell has no fury
but how I would love to be on that jury.
To call out the sex troll vamp
in the case of Trump v Tramp
in this the show trial of the century!

So they call the shyster ex-lawyer for hire
as their big star witness and testifier.
  A perjured jailhouse trickster
  who calls himself "The Fixer"
but oops, is a convicted fraudster and liar!

The busty po-rn star said “he’s guilty, yup”
of the hush money charges all trumped up.
It looks and smells like a con
and they’re out to get The Don
but it's all just a stormy in a D-Cup!

Premium MemberThe Young Oncology Nurse

The young R.N.'s humility was almost noticeable.
No one knew how lavish her life had once been.
She had survived luxury which might
have spoiled others into sloth-like ways.

The grandeur of her childhood home would have intimidated most of us.
There was once an opulence to her day to day, that she managed to ignore
and outrun. She was not fancy, she exuded no airs; most would have been surprised at her wealth. Her smile delighted her patients.

She worked a forty-hour a week job, supporting the poor, raising them up, reassuring them. We knew her only as a nurse, a kind co-worker who was
down-to-earth. She would have had it no other way, being as selfless and empathetic as she was.

Premium MemberCandy Corn

O candy corn
If food was p*rn
You start with one
And then you’re done
Where did they go
You do not know
Rationalize:
They’re tiny pies!
But face the facts
They’re candied wax
O candy corn
I thought I’d sworn
But there you are
Right in that jar
And so I’m drawn
Till you’re all gone
Myself to blame
I flush with shame
O candy corn
If food was p*rn…

Premium MemberDecember 2021

Well now, isn’t that just dandy?!
Isn’t this some fun?!
Another Christmas cancelled.
Another party undone.

I’m double vaxed and boosted.
Short on TP, but not of stress.
I stay masked and mostly distant,
Amidst a supply chain mess.

I’m stocked up on beer, wine, and whiskey.
My cupboards are filled with canned food.
I’m blessed with enough marijuana
To keep up a good attitude.

My attention’s too skittish for Netflix.
I'm binge-watching YouTube instead.
I like the ones on power tools, and music.
My taste in p*rn is better left unsaid.

I visit Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok,
Snapchat, LinkedIn, and Zoom.
I greet strangers in the metaverse
From the depths of my living room.

I’ve done hundreds of crossword puzzles.
Built many scale model planes.
I can take a day and kill it,
Then neatly inter the remains.

And when there’s nothing, absolutely nothing left to do,
I go back to the second day of first grade
With eight Crayola crayons in a little cardboard box.
Every color matters when there’s artwork to be made.

Put In Putamen

The RN said he had to cough
In time with Rimsky-Korsakov
When God asked her why
She said, "My, oh my!
Don't you know he's Ben Joaquinov?"

Poetry form: Footle -Just a reminder, a footle is a 2 line, 2 syllable trochaiac monometer poem with an integral title suitable for light, witty, pertinent, topical verse. To make it more fun, I also try to have the second line have a similar sound as the first line.

So there! Now you know.

Nurse For Better Or Worse

Nurse for Better Or Worse

Had married my wife for better or worse.
And she ended up becoming a nurse;
Not only that became an Registered RN;
On general floor is where she did begin.

With others her each ability did share
Became part of Neonatal Intensive Care
When she put on each nursing shoe
Would always end up going to NICU.

Each morning when sun would rise
She was an angel in her disguise
Back in those days a person knows
All white were all of her clothes.

Of course now must start to admit;
Love all her patients could never quit
Each day more in love with her fell
Hearing stories she had to tell

What's On My Leg

I was making an RN home visit
one day to a woman who was quite
dismayed
She wanted to show me something
and wondered what I had to say
She showed me an area on her calf
Had been to various doctors who said
they had never seen anything like it
nor had their staff
Nor had I
She said it just appeared, no pain
no injury, no burn, no swelling
" so what the hell is it ?? "
It looked like a square, black grid
she tried to keep it covered and hid
I told her there was only one explanation

Paramedic Vs Rn

Silently, I view your eyes.
Marbles, moving towards judgement.
So easy for you to surmise.
Where they came, where they went.
Haughty, you ignore my report.
They sadly sit in abject failure.
Icily, you give sharp retort.
Treatment of trash, forced to endure.
Revered only by ignorance,
you continue in your sin.
When did you spoil?
When did the pretension begin?
A pit of incestuous vipers,
you utterly disgust me.
Overpaid and overfed,
worth of service, less than free.
Doing more harm than good,
braggart of your lame degree.
Vomit forth your opinion.
Giving no order without a signee.
You wouldn't last a day on my box.
I would never clear you.
I only oversee true compassion.
Heroes born into the job they do.
So I beg you retire, already.
Put yourself out to pasture.
Your friends already graze there.
In my mind, you couldn't exit faster.
