As it goes.. Is she addicted.? I guess

All seems so skewed, I think indeed she is
More like a (sin-ister) maybe been speeded up

I ln Davos they've flattered her hard.'said you

All other Aussies being only retards.' And i'll bet.?
As they say in America..She swallowed

May I return when nights come

May I return when nights come
And off the furious outside mind
And lit beams inside of some kinds

They sparkle calmness as seeds sprout
And shine as the moonlit torches the soul
I am sure of these moments of aliveness
As bright as the crystallized world of unseen

ln a sudden mode, hilarious could flow
Else, fade off tiredness irrational foes
Many times, I hate to mention this in poems
As hypocritical as some chinese trouble

Premium Member Gotcha

Tingly skies full of surprise
oh how I love when with surmise,
the little rascal aims his dart
as if it were, poetic art !

Arrow friend or arrow foe,
     until it hits you won't know;
the blush of love where friendship lived,
or ground to pulp, put through a sieve.

ln the lab of chemisty
     scientists create a key~
attract with this, repell with that,
believe in us you won't fall flat!

Is it not just happenstance,
just the right place in the dance,
or up the stair instead of down,
he did not smile so you must frown?

Love is still a lottery,
     you the fragile pottery~
when cupid's arrow aims for you,
there isn't much that you can do!

I See You

l see you in a crowded train,
ln a lonely station l see you.
l see you in tomorrow's touch.
ln serene sunrise l see you.
l see you in my office at times
ln eyes that smile l see you.
l see you in sickness and pain
'midst men and women l see you.
I see you in ocean's tide
In shells ashore I see you.
l see you in years passed
ln sultry days l see you.
l see you in a petal soft.
ln a drop of rain l see you.
l see you in a grain of sand.
ln a rainbow too l see you.
l see you in a baby's eyes
ln dreams of love l see you.
I see you in tender lips
In broken hearts I see you.
I see you in a rubble of loss
In tyranny and chaos I see you.
I see you in a strand of hair
In moments of loss I see you.
I see you in a painter's art.
In empty gaze I see you.
I see you in a writer's pen
In awards, ceremonies I see you.
I see you in blossomed breasts
In flakes of snow I see you.
I see you with all my being.
In moments of death I see you.

Premium Member Peace Abides

The snow lay on the land ln soft folds
some deep, others were a sprinkling.
Sound was hushed by its blanket
Leaving a quiet stillness in its wake'

Layers of pristine snow muffled foot steps
all the creatures were drawn with curiosity
To a clearing deep in the very dense forest
where a wonderous sight was to be seen.

For there lying in a cradle was a babe
one by one the creatures knelt down
worshiping the babe and the promise
that its birth brought of a new road.

A new form of peace embraced all
each and every form of life came
together in new understanding
and the heaven's lit up in splendour.

Once again we are reminded
of the Lord's "peace be with you"

Premium Member Merlin the Magic Cat

MEOW! cries Merlin the Magic Cat,
As he pulls magic out of his hat!

POOF! A lady Siamese appears!
PURR-they scratch each other's ears.

POOF! A service of catnip tea spread.
PURR-Sip and smile, no meows are said.

POOF! A coach with gold roses on it!
MEOW! "Mer" reads a Shakesphere sonnet.

PURRING loudly, as she smiles at him,
POOF! Eight horses await his next whim.

POOF! Two coachmen arrive ln thin air!
Reining the horses, they await there.

PURR-Will she or won't she take his arm?
He's barely begun to show his charm.

POOF! She accepts and they ride away!
PURR-Magic occurred one summer's day!

Premium Member A Free Gift After the Rain

Lo! A spectrum of colors
In the misty cerulean sky
God’s benevolent gift graciously bestowed
After a light drizzle

A rainbow- nature’s lovely poem
Written on the widest canvas
An arch spanning the Earth and the heavens
A painting with colors overlapping
An art created by the crystalline prisms

Life expands and pulsates
Eyes are raised to a vision grand
Mind takes flight to Heaven’s glory

A transient reminder of the beauty promised for man
Warm in glow, radiant in splendor, emanating light, triggering joy,
Staying amid drifting clouds, waving at us in cheer

Oh eyes, feast on this celestial sight
This scintillating spectral aura
And get drowned in its magical spell!

Hey, why not ride upon the wind
To loot the pot of gold hidden at its tip!

Absolutely anything - the best thematic shot,
What an opportunity to one entangled plot!
I racked my true detective brain,
All trains of thought ran overstrain,
Limerick that lacks a story substance all I got.

Premium Member The Beauty of Seasons

Winter is an etching, spring is a watercolor, summer is
an oil painting, and autumn is a mosaic of them all."
                                               Quote by - Stanley Harowitz

I love having four seasons,
it is so nice to have change;
my favorite is winter,
I just love the snow !

Was born in a winter storm,
Dad, said he was driving blind;
that's why snow and me entwine,
love filigree flakes !

Spring brings me sunshine and rain,
and the flowers start blooming;
and birds tweet and twitter songs,
how lovely is change !

Summer brings me longer days
where the sun caresses skin
and a light breeze is blowing
time to let soul fly !

Every autumn leaf speaks,
fluttering in the north winds:
the red, orange and yellow,
brings to me such bliss !

Honorable Mention

Premium Member Once Familiar Perfume

The wind from the south,
as rich as whispered voices,
nudges my heartstrings to roam
those timeworn keepsake places;
espying aged filaments of true hope,
numbered and nearly as delicate
as a man hungering
for the once familiar perfume
of old-fashioned hymns.

Premium Member I Make a Memory

I press a forget-me-not somewhere in the Psalms
For no particular reason, I simply make a memory,
She liked them, perhaps, it was for my mother, alms
I place her Bible on a high shelf so as not to wear,
And someday it will become a part of family history.
When she, nor I, is any longer inclined to read it,
I can imagine a progeny finding it without a qualm
By then, it will have crumbled into a feathery dust,
Another memory I am passing down with little trust
Nothing provokes me to do this, except I simply must.

Leave Me Alone

“Wherever I am, the world comes after me” ~Mary Oliver

Oh, this fastidious world
just wouldn’t want to leave me alone,
It nags me, stalks me, and
tries to wean me away.

It believes not that I am but
a transient traveler
through the corridors of time,
An echo
from the void of the past,
An apparition
from the shadows of oblivion.

For all its worth,
I may one day drop the world
like a weary Atlas,
And forever
disappear into the great beyond.

Cape Cod Boy

A warring feat
expands beneath
petite and huge contends,
a unique line
tugging the brine
taunting as it suspends,
a juvenile
bear naught a smile
a glimpse enigma lends,
too close to shore
new hopes implore
that cod and haddock wends,
true tasty meats
fresh scene unseats
entreaties pleased extends,
aspect well made
fulfilled persuade
the wait, the catch godsends.
