Ed Poems - Poems about Ed

If I Were a Girl, Would You Listen?

He doesn't cry in public-
he's learned to bleed where no one looks.
Where bathroom tiles keep secrets
and mirrors lie
just enough
to keep him standing.

he skips lunch again.
just not hungry, he says
but the hunger is real-
not for food
for someone
to notice.
for silence.

his sleeves stay long,
even in summer.
skin whispering stories
that no one ever asks to hear.

because boys?
boys don't break
boys don't

Hollow Frame

A boy walks slow through halls of glass,
His shadow flickers, thin as grass.
Each step a secret, each breath a theft,
Of hunger’s war and weightless heft.

They whisper when they think he’s gone,
“Is he okay? He looks withdrawn.”
But laughter fades when backs are turned,
And eyes like his are never learned.

His plate remains a battlefield—
Each bite a blade,

A Una Ed Una Soltanto

Tic toc…
Tic toc…
Tic toc…
Tic toc…
Tic toc…
Tic toc…
Tic toc…
Tic toc…

…

Mi uccido:
quando mi addormento…
quando mi sveglio.

…

Prima o poi,
ridurrò le volte a una.

A una ed una soltanto.

Prima o poi.

…

Tic toc…
Tic toc…

Premium Memberwhat it takes to recover

Recovery turns to reduction.
Curing a disorder of consumption through crumbs,
Staring at the dish before me,
An enemy of the state of my mind.
I fear I’ll turn back to a pantry for protection,
While taking microbites in front of peers.
My fear turns to fullness,
And I empty my being,
My soul,
My vitality
And flush it away.

Ghost-ed

Today I ghosted someone
please don't ask why,
cause they really seemed sweet
and all I did was lie.

About my thoughts, intentions,
the date he asked to meet
he asked me to the pictures,
I smiled through gritted teeth.

With a sprinkle of deceit
I strung him along,
to fill some hollow void
when I knew it was was wrong.

For weeks on end
we'd talk for

Local Business Man Saved By A Foreign Woman

Bussing immigrants to high-end neighborhoods makes immigration status worse. After an Ecuadorian women gave Heimlich to a man choking on a Scampi, she was once again bussed elsewhere without a single thank you. People in these areas reported people being saved by these immigrants. FYI: everyone in America are immigrants

CONTRI and DISTRI
Someone somewhere decided English
needed to be changed.
As usual with our copy-cat world, so dire
an unthinking band wagon has spread as
a forest fire.
An academic,typically verbose, wrote
'why use one when two' could sound
more up-to-date and new!
Thus the 'double prefix' was conceived
and sadly like a Topsy grew.
Contri and Distri have wrongly become
the norm

     AUTONOMOUS.
A residual print of 4D shadow.
To nestle a cozy 3D-RESIDENCE.

 ABSOLUTE LY.
Expressionism throws its feces on the wall

Chosen Fate

After deciding
To skip this one too,
Soon enough
Her face turned blue.
Thinking what damage,
Could a skipped meal do?
And if one won't,
Then so won't two.
So she sleeps on this one too.
What's a little bit of hunger?
Nothing new.

But she finds herself in one of her biggest fears,
The sound of a siren filling her ears,
Red and blue lights blinding her

I Loved Too Deeply

I once told myself I was incapable of love,
Because I could not love myself.
That was until I met you.
For months my diet consisted of not eating more than 300 calories,
Hours of exercise, even if I felt like I couldn't go on anymore,
There were the daily purges after all of that.
I skipped lunch every day just
