C2 O Grinning

Capitol Hill lawmakers
busy be sound byte spinning
Graft siphon those sawbuck bills,
so succubus sly

Cheshire cat revenue takers,
queeny crooked smile grinning
Wink the incubus eye,
and nod about
how much cheddar they gon steal

Fat cats sitting on a lounge relax
in their dark backrooms,
blowing cigar smoke rings
Marking the Treasury tax map
with grifter circles

Them Cheshire cat one tracks
love
puffing out the zeros

C2 O mirror and smoke
Disappearing cash,
tip-toeing up
the pocket chimney it goes

C2 O ash-tinted windows
Cheshire cats
ogling claws
greedily scratching fo’ mo’

C2 O taxpayer choke hold
Got a crooked, grinning clasp ...
Grifter greedy green paw grasp,
ain’t never gon smiley let go

C2 O mirror and smoke
Cheshire cat one tracks
love puffing out the zeros

C2 O ash-tinted windows
Every tax loophole ... open cash register,
they don’t ever shut close

Louis Rolfe

Louis has a sports centre named after him,
At his local Cambridge Regional college;
He’s a C2 para-cyclist, has Cerebral Palsy,
Plus hydrocephalus, was fired by 2012.

So after these very successful Paras 2012,
Louis was tested by British cycling coaches,
Who found talent, skill and hidden strength,
Such that he became part of the GB team.

He made the 2012 Newport Internationals,
Where he won for the individuals, bronze,
Collected a team silver and he progressed,
Onto the Apeldoorn Worlds in Holland.

There he placed fifth in the team sprint,
Came seventh in the long 1km time trial,
And in the individual pursuit came tenth,
To make the Montichiari World Champs.

One gold for the team sprint, one bronze,
For the C1-C5 C2 time trial, and so in Rio
He excelled, taking the team sprint gold,
And the bronze in the C2 individual pursuit.

Kadeena Cox

Kadeena was born on 10 March 1991,
And competed in non-disabled sports,
Until 2014 when she was diagnosed,
With Multiple Sclerosis which swayed.

She was a sprinter, including the 60m,
To set a WR of 11.97secs in the 100,
So changed to para-sports very fine -
To T37 sprinting and C2 track cycling.

On the approach to Rio she posted,
For the 100m a WR of 13.59 secs,
And then beat Georgina Hermitage,
Who came 2nd, by running 13.67.

So for Rio she was reclassified,
As a T38 runner, and for the T38
400m she won the gold medal,
And for the T35-38 relay, a silver.

She won bronze in the T38 100m,
And in that golden 400 set a WR -
Also competing in para-cycling,
She took the gold for the WR trial.

She was definitely a star at Rio,
And so was selected by Team GB,
To carry the Union Jack upright,
The night of the closing ceremony.

Final Instalment ,A Hypothesis

Once there was a teacher by name Jenish Anthony "the Holy"
represented success by the simple equation “E=C2” coolly
“E” success in any endeavor of value
“C” uncompromising pursuit of a value
Bloody this hypothesis of Jenish"the great teacher" is no folly!
