So Long! - Apr 26

Your needs unmet and, too, mine equally
fulfilled,—I s’pose it’s best to leave this where
it stands.—what other course could feel as fair?
But deep disturbances in mon esprit,

increasingly violent unto me,
(as roaring winds and foaming omens) stir
tidal wave emotions without compare;—
breaking—in terrific fatality. 

My heart adrift,—stranded soon on your shore,—
beats weak, throbs sad sobs, sniffles back such

Another oath I’ve sworn, 
Another spoken lie. 
Any way to home, 
Court me into a door open wide. 
Another totem born, 
Another standing so high. 
Another day,
Another poem, 
Thoughts come in the form of rhyme.

Rows of corn, 
Pleased to be born,
Taught to stand in line. 
Thoughts worn and dry, 
Fields seem forlorn,

Trust In The Lord - Isaiah 26: 4

So many trust in various things
these are found to be vain
for there's only one sure to trust
in the Lord alone who deals with our stain

This trust is everlasting for sure
it brings assurance to your heart
knowing this, the Lord will be with you
to be your anchor in no small part

I sense here some things sinister—a scent
of sulphur, sulking in a sultry pit;
a serpent’s hiss, expressed from space unlit; 
a warm spell spilling from some seething vent;

I find now some things filthy—foul ferment
foaming, frothing; a gaseous, gurgling slit
discharging fetid, festering, sour spit; 
malignant mold in cold, cracking cement;

So languid, loath, obtuse I trepidate
on into the

Blood leaking from my nose, 
A probable prologue to my death. 
And it blows.
The lows, 
Lately I’ve been peaking at my lows. 
A dishonourable rest forever forebodes. 
My heart keeps faking pounds and it shows, 

Why boy are you a “shy boy”? 
Wear a lie boy but it seems that they know. 
Fashionable is not

An untruth, though oft repeated, doesn’t make it so,
And only through total silence, will it cease to grow.

Violently thrashing and jerking and pulling
It implores me to act
Desperate to stay alive in it's final hour
Reminding me of our pact

It pleads, it begs, It cries to me
All the while concealing it's fangs
It tears me apart inside
It hammers, it pounds, and it bangs 

A love earst alive and warm and real 
Now cold and cooling

Last one in the one everyone tip toes. 
Thirsts something everyone knows, 
Glass out for a drink but nobody passed the hose. 

Is dying living forever,
Who really knows? 
Breathing in fire, 
Singing to see the ashen snows. 
I’m trying to live until whenever, 
Only the tombstone will ever really know.
