clouding my judgment?—what viscous illusion—

persuades me to heed your haughty strut?

is begging—not—accept—refuse—intrusion.

ah!, but I budge, I give in to temptation!
why,why,why must I make the same mistake

I’ve seen it, late those myriad afternoons—
A twilight blush, first waiting patiently
to welcome back your scintillating beauty,
next succumbing to your mild midnight swoons;

Your sapphire eyes then gleamed as glowing moons—
Though here facing me, near enough to see,
distantly they shone, reflecting the glee	?of more divinely animated tunes;

Yet, stretching out, I could not seem to reach
your spirit,

november has only just begun
and already-
i'm thinking of you

my favourite jeans
which have seen so many novembers' before-
ripped in the knee today

snow in november
whispers your name into my ears
why must it snow in november?

soon enough i will be a year older
when do i start to feel different?

today i painted my nails red
listening to old CD's
i remember last year

i watched a spider spin a web on my ceiling
i watched for weeks

i don't really know who i am
but my nails are red
and my hair is long
and i want to be happy

In quiet times, in times of talk
I love you just the same
There's nothing that can stop that fact 
My heart beats out your name
It beats inside this chest of mine
Unseen from viewing eyes
But beat it does, for you my love
From sunrise to sunrise

My surgery

the second hand ticks to the beat of my heart 
Waiting for the surgeon to come and make a start.

Nerves all on edge fear creeping in 
Taken to the theatre for the surgery to begin.

Theatre lights shining they are so very bright 
Trying to control my breathing chest is getting tight.
