“Follow your heart, follow your heart,” they say-
but mine bends with the rain,
is bruised by a passing comment,
strangled by the silence
of an awkward moment.
I circle words on a screen,
reading, re-reading,
overthinking… overthinking…
Until my heart
feels more like a maze
of endless calculation.
I’ve tried, for so long,
to live by that phrase,
yet every word pulls me outward,
into the fog of exaggerated judgement
as if I were the center of all things.
Narcissistic, I know
or just sensitive.
And still, like a bee plunging
into a flower too deep,
I find myself sinking,
cloaked in a pollen-fluff
that never belonged to me.
September 11th 2001
Terrorist Islamic
Hijacked an airplane, suicide attack
A day will never forget
Two planes crashed into
World Trade Center
Twenty four years ago
Twin towers collapsed
Almost 3,000 died on 9/11
Tevevised globally
An invasion of Afghanistan
War is never ending
Destruction is 24/7
What is the meaning of this
Impacted changed the world
Surrounded by smoke, gasping for air
We lost 343 fire fighters
Put your arms around the world
Were always under attack
Another war
Heroes with blood
Millions saw the event unfold
Don’t forget this day
One day, we will meet again
In a radiant blue sky
9/11/25
Nature's lanterns aglow in the velvet night,
guided by them, muted laughter echoes with delight.
A mirror of geniality in the hand of darkness,
the flickering glow of flying artists.
Children softly exhale around ashen remains,
their bodies in slumber but not so their brains.
Enveloped in the golden aurora of earth-bound constellations,
enchanting dreams begin to flow.
Aureate beings rise from every child,
gathering into one glistening file.
A river of angelic beings,
floodlike and sweeping.
Upon the backs of minute fireflies,
a shimmering bridge built on life
softly breathes and
ascends into the night.
“The aforesaid five objects, which are the negative attributes of the five electricities, being combined produce the idea of gross matter in its five forms: Ki, solids; Ap, liquids; Tejas, fire; Marut, gaseous substances; and Akasa, ether.
These five forms of gross matter and aforesaid fifteen attributes, together with Manas, Mind, sense consciousness; Buddhi, discriminative Intelligence; Chitta, the Heart or power of feeling; and Ahamkara, the Ego, constitute the twenty-four basic principles of creation.”
~ extract from ‘The Holy Science’
In the realm of heaven, our eye is single
but with no adversities to overcome,
so the one becomes two and then they jingle
propelled by the power of the cosmic hum
and in the five elements they commingle,
ego distanced from heart, though soul is welcome.
Poised thus in subject-object relationship,
we discover God when love is our flagship.
I was a student of logic
when the world stopped breathing—
July 20, 1969,
a footprint pressed into silver dust.
Neil Armstrong’s voice crackled,
“one small step…”
and yet, my mind whispered—
was it the Moon,
or a Hollywood stage?
Fifty–six years have burned away,
half a century of miracles and machines.
We send probes beyond Pluto,
yet have not returned
to that pale frontier
just 384,400 kilometers away.
We dive to the edge of oceans,
but never to their blackest trench.
We speak of radiation belts,
Van Allen’s invisible fire—
how did fragile bodies
slip through alive,
wrapped only in cloth and hope?
Pride is America’s anthem.
If the flag had truly bitten lunar soil,
would it not have marched again—
and again—
until a fortress crowned the Moon?
They say budgets broke the dream.
But tell me—
what nation spares the stars
while spilling trillions on war?
The camera rolls.
The world applauds.
The truth drifts somewhere
between silence and space.

O my (Eternal) God
I offer You all my prayers
Works
And sufferings
In union with the Sacred Heart of Fr. Christ
For the intentions for the intentions for which He pleads
And offers Himself in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
In thanksgiving for your favors
In reparation for my offenses
And in humble supplication
For my temporal welfare
For the conversion of sinners
And for the relief of the poor souls in the purgatory
I wish to gain all indulgences
Attached to the prayers I will say
And works I will perform this day
Amen

spring haiku 11
sprinkles of spring shine
roses unfurl their blossoms…
the sky is witness
A woman splayed upon a lofty beach—
the drunkard’s stumble-street-strut-jumble-key—
BUY NOW, AND GET THE SECOND [this/that] FREE!
—and what’s this cracked out weirdo got to preach?
…”about the senate’s 3rd bid to impeach…”—
.(Get lost.-)—.IF YOU THINK YOU’LL NEVER BELIE—
look, look!a man crushed by a falling tree!—
—(“oh!—my God!”)—nvm—it’s…freedom…of speech?
Get real! Wake up! Which trope must I invoke?—
(Uh?)—GET REAL RELIEF FROM [this.that]for cheap…—
(Am I getting déja vu?)—(Wait a minute…
)—"everyone’s already way deep in it!"*—
(Who’s telling me that?)—it crawls like a creep:
*Deconformity,(am I just a joke?).
Thoughts whisk me away to a foregone time,
when things were peaceful with much less crime.
Of a Mother who never complained of tired back,
from a ten hour day pulling a twelve foot sack.
She had six children and still worked in the field,
her sleepless nights worrying she never revealed.
A tub and rub board always kept our clothes clean,
we got new duds at school start and not between.
She used a sad iron that she heated on the range,
that kept jeans pressed for a twice a week change.
As older one’s grew up we quickly left the nest,
and all helped mother through each life test.
Mothers day retrieves thoughts of my first lady,
and God called her home at the ripe age of eighty.
God blessed our family and all life wasn’t bad,
because we couldn’t miss things that we never had.
Study Talks
Maths, Science, English, Hindi,
Sr. Newton why u discovered gravity? ,
Formulas and experiments,
books took our brain on rent
Day or night root and Square
always have frustating fight.
My bat and ball are waiting for me,
I also wanna play out suddenly.
It's been a long time,
Since I have drawn something.
I just want to free myself
to achive more and more...... everything,
English has its Grammar,
Math and physics are undiscovered
chemistry and biology
they even make me feeling lazy.
History for me is like a mystery,
I would learn photography
rather than geography.
