Ladybugs help control plant pests, so some people buy and release them.  But some eat crops, and some invade and bother native ones.  Say NO to Round-up on crops!--I Am Anaya

Even with a bit of humour we can bring awareness to what helps/destroys our natural habitat. ~ Regards // paul

This is raw for the topic. Very well written, however. I could feel the tulip.

Sometimes raw is needed to get a point across I think, the tulip in danger as well Buy beetles instead of toxins and you'll have good (garden) luck karma! :D

Ah I remember the days when ladybugs were plentiful, and letting them crawl along my hand til they reached the tip of my finger and fly away, is a real shame they are in decline due to weed killer doing the job for them, brilliant haiku and image Anaya, cheers David

Dear Anaya, ur words are a beautiful blend of nature's wisdom and whimsy! You're spot on about ladybugs being helpful, and it's great that people are thinking about more natural ways to manage pests. And I love the creative way you've expressed your feelings about Round-up and tulips Thanks for sharing your thoughts and sparking a conversation about taking care of our planet. Best, Anne

Ty sweet Anne, I'm reminding gardeners that you can use ladybugs instead of toxic weed killers which have impacts on the environment y e s they contaminate water, degrade soil, harm wildlife, and contribute to pesticide resistance I really do care~
