A crescent moon occurs when only a small arc-shaped section of the Moon is visible and illuminated by the Sun. Occurring at dusk or dawn.

Yes, my moon series has taught me that as earth, sister moon, and brother sun (which I had wrong in my haiku, fixed) is in motion, we maintain our equilibrium, God's grace. Nasa is cool.
