Notes About The Poem

The Masons are known for being very reticent and don't evangelize, they don't search for adherence! Because of this rumor monger's have always said the Masons have something to hide. Silence is a virtue. I believe this true--I Am Anaya

The Symbol

In 
Masonic tradition,
the pyramid represents wisdom
on the back of the dollar bill you see
an edifice with the tip of the pyramid detached,
a searching eye is in the tip of the detached pyramid
Our nation should ever be searching for the divine wisdom
that humanity needs,  which will make the pyramid complete


seek wisdom and
lay dormant blind ignorance~
not curiousness

Anaya, ahhh the back of the dollar bill! Isn't it interesting. In 2007 I published a poetry book with the pyramid as my inspiration. So, seeing this made me smile big time. I was referring to the capitalist "pyramid" scheme. I very much like what you said here too. We should question what comes before us and determine if it fits with the facts as we understand them. Often, it may not and that might make some of us a bit uncomfortable. It's that reckoning that seems so absent these days. Smiles!

Really! 2007-2009 creative years weren't they? It was during my painting timeline. Congratulations on your book, it must be a great read, your one of the best poets I have met here Duke. This is One for the Masons, first let me say i am not a conspiracy theorist, but I am curious and listen. I love the "Ancient Aliens" fascinates - oh, this is from the book i read by Dan Brown he has many straight facts in the book. Smiles
