God The Father, The Almighty

Most High, all-powerful, all-good Lord, All praise is Yours, all glory, all honor and all blessings. To You alone, Most High, do they belong, and no mortal lips are worthy to pronounce Your Name

Monotheistic religion starts at the core wherein One God created the world and its people because He loved them! Polytheistic religions also have love at their core. AD 60 or 70 first known Christian writings 1600's Christian Bible, King James time Before that was Pagan Nature Worship

I think our mind is like a radio receptor, most of us have too much static to tune into our spirituality ~ we have to slow down the waves and be receptive—I Am Anaya

Why do I hunger for justice, for love, I can’t keep this emptiness inside, this void annoys pulling me under I cry in pain, I gain nothing and I wonder, Why do I find comfort in turning away from the beliefs instilled upon me It’s so much easier to ignore the teachings before me To live as if it doesn’t matter who I hurt, treat like dirt Whose path I’ve changed with my narrow mindedness For I've outgrown the things that once defined me ~o~ I used to take safe harbor within the cove of fleeting happiness but the cove grows dank and confining Words prove banal and empty Set sail in the broad open air Beckoning world of hope, seeking God, the Almighty, in natures glorious bounty a catalyst for change and regain passion ~o~ Something far more sacred things inexplicable that I can’t rid I’ll fondly take responsibility for myself, for others show care like that I’ve been given and share Eager I use old despair as a driven Tears I shed no longer, with empathy I grow stronger ~o~ St Francis of Assisi found God’s presence in nature, Brother Sun, Sister Moon I too have found this same rapture This a realization, 'tis with me from my deepest self I reveal an emotional rapture beknownst it be Enamored in love is how I truly feel of the combined sacred oneness Emotions unfurled Respect, charity, and love for God and his creations and appreciations 'Tis common in the world religions 'Tis the common essence Shared are His values when in His presence Realization from my deepest self I reveal Enamored in love is how I truly feel a strong sense of collectiveness felt with all things

A superb write, Anaya, which resonates deep within. Love alone is real and we ascend it’s octaves along joy, empathy, compassion, purity and bliss, we attain that peace which surpasseth understanding, spoken of in scriptures and folklore.

I love the way you said so eloquently, Crystol--"It's a beautiful struggle this life!" How true is that! It matters what you think, coming from a true poetess, I'm learning how to reflect and you all matter to me so much in the process. TY ~

Congratulations on you win, Anaya! Saint Francis presented nature all flora and fauna not only as God's gift, but as God's incarnate. Well-done, Robert

Dearest Anaya, Congratulations on placing in my poetry contest. As I read your words, I really felt a searching, honest meditation on the hunger for meaning that lives beneath all our questions about God, one, many, or none at all. You beautifully capture how monotheistic and polytheistic tradition both place love and connection at their core, even as their forms and histories diverge. Your metaphor of the mind as a radio, full of static, shows that tuning into the sacred, however we define it, requires intention, openness, and a willingness to slow down. I loved how you traced a journey from inherited beliefs and restless longing, through disillusionment and self-responsibility, to a rediscovery of the sacred in nature and empathy-echoing St. Francis’s sense of rapture in the world’s beauty. Your words are a gentle prompting that, the deepest truths are often shared such as a longing for justice, a reverence for life, and a love that binds us. Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Anaya, sounds as though you have found a sense of inner peace and tranquility. That is something no one can take from you. It's something that comes from being able to love others and love life, which itself comes from being able to accept yourself and your place in the universe. Sounds easy (lol). Congratulations!!!! Hope you can hold on to it!

I'm finding it easier to write how I feel, it wasn't always easy for me to reflect on religion, I could listen to Christian songs on the radio inside and cry or love on nature walks and take in the beauty, it's that simple. What comes along my path, ill do over until I get it right. Me too!

“ with empathy I grow stronger” i resonate with that and i hope yes many would be more empathetic and see beyond, the openinv lines i think really does describe you as you are always quick to speak and seek justice for those unfortunate. Or ill treated! I love the arrangement of lines in this and flow of your words! The quote is brilliant too! If its for the contest! Best wishes. Sending you light
