I am the star dust born into flesh and blood~ Merely a human—poet

Amouage is given
to the Pope, the King, the Queen
some we offer willingly others begrudgingly
the honorable can be challenged or challenging
the dishonored deemed unworthy,
placed upon a teetering putrid pedestal
Though at times impartial are the judges, not always
too partial implies and infuses distrust
unless we first seek to understand, make sense of it all
it’s the way of the world~ a poet’s battle

I  
    a
m          
      a struggling, irrepressibly creative force, an enigma channeled 
through a myriad of diverse, inexplicably bold personas
each identity embodied is a fragment of a restless soul, yearning 
seeking, and daring to explore beyond boundaries manifesting myself as
a rebel who came to town with a fire in her heart and a mission that defies me
Convention through conviction inked, shall it be taken to heart, I must wait and see
A skeleton key holds secrets, a golden key opens a Majestic Manor

     quest is not for fame nor fortune but for the elusive treasure of inner peace
sanctuaries for chaos within, masks worn of fearlessness and vulnerability
each revealing a piece of me, each tell a story of bravery and doubt 
fused traversing and probing mind’s eye, the proverbial West 
a place I can rest and reflect

    keeps a journal of her adventures, fights injustice stumbled upon, 
what once were dreams of a journalist’s journey, a light that is snuffed out, 
but a dying ember remains so—What is this immovable object, this darkness 
that meets an irrepressible force?

     r 
       morale and strength atrophied the undaunted warrior unbowed                                    
rendered impotent obsolete and shunned, unworthy of consideration
presence or absence no difference, it leaves no impression inconsequential landscape of a little life - What lifting aspirations meet that come together?  
Where do I find this chemistry, this enzyme which fuels change?
In the quiet moments a hole remains in my soul, that's the space poetry fills

        During youthful development lacking were sophisticated aids
discovery, born a love for writing, historical facts amuse me, 
politics destroy me, poetry evokes me, bolsters are tech tools at whim

          are stunned to learn what I’ve been able to incorporate
onto pages, broad variety of poetry forms of literary art in a wonderland—
a platform for presenting affirmation of worth, encouraging others, 
improving with poetic devices and keeping markers on special days
Long-lasting impacts and actions I embrace,

You're a multi faceted person to be sure Ms. Anayalator. I can't imagine this not placing well but who knows. As far as our legacy, most of us are destined to languish here on this amateur poetry site. There are worse things in life

TY, dear poet. All I know is that what I see, and it's only a piece of a whole poet. ha, does that make sense? what i'm saying is that we all have many talents....and what we write is part of our legacy ~
