Gate of Undefined Infinity

“Fear of death is fear of surrender to Infinity.” ~ Adi Da Samraj In my fevered state, I sought the godforsaken sounds of the gossamer strings of the harp. It was hours of grave thoughts before I would awaken to the ghostly groaning of my mind’s steep scarp. Grief-stricken, I lie staring through closed eyes listening to the beat of my heart echoing from the silent monitor, praying the future that it belies pushes me toward the gate of undefined infinity. God knows what grand or ghastly fate awaits my soul, with grim gargoyles adorning the path down gnarled gardens toward and through ornate gates. Will this be my entryway to salvation or wrath?

There is always uncertainty at the gate.... We are not sure if it is a gate opening to salvation or perdition. Well done, dear friend. Congratulations on your win.

We are not sure if we will enter the gate to salvation or of wrath. This confusion makes death one of dread and anxiety. As thoughts of uncertainty plagues us, our heart may race in fear. Great entry for the contest.

Yes Valsa. Many people fear. We are even so many conflicting "stories" of death and the beyond. We should not fear, for more adventure awaits! Thanks for your kind and supportive comments. :)

The imagery was inviting and mystery kept me engaged, Linda. With the highlighted words, me thinks it may be for a contest. If so, good luck, my friend. Bill
