Surviving the Storm
Thrust within,
I could not focus.
Lights sizzled,
blistering
and slashing the jagged sky
with vile lightening.
Your visage
materialized
from nowhere,
beckoning,
guiding my path with sure wake
safely to the shore.
You became
my anchored buoy.
Just for you
I inhale.
My heart will always seek berth
in your steadfast love.
