Hi Ann. Thank you! I believe they are referring to the full moon casting the lovely and long mountain shadows as it rises. The colors are my memories experiencing this beautiful season. :)

Linda, you have captured this colorful, lovely moment in time as shadows "creep" and the moon "rises." I love the movement in your lines! Question - are you from the NW? You certainly have captured the essence of a NW twilight. Blessings of "purple moons" to you.
