THANKS SO MUCH TO THOSE WHO PARTICIPATED. HERE IS YOUR PERSONALITY FOR CHRISTMAS ACCORDING TO THINGS I READ ABOUT YOUR PREFERENCES FOR DIFFERENT CHRISTMAS MOVIES, SONGS AND STYLES OF DECORATING. IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME AND WANT ME TO ANALYZE YOUR RESULTS, PLEASE GO TO MY ORIGINAL PERSONALITY TEST, MY PREVIOUS BLOG, AND TELL ME YOUR RESULTS DOWN THERE. LATER, I'LL THEN ADD YOUR RESULTS TO THIS LIST RIGHT HERE:
FRANCINE (added on this morning): You chose Xmas Vacation, the Chevy Chase movie, same as Deb and Charlotte. I don't know who came up with this, but on one website, it was said that people who choose that movie are accident prone or just like watching other people have funny accidents. I liked that movie too. haha. You are probably about the only person besides me to choose artificial tree with one color of lights. I have noticed you and I have a lot in common, and that was reflected in our tree choice, Francine. I just love my cool blue/silver tree this year. In past years I had red/gold and blue/green was another color scheme I had with blue lights a long time ago. This shows we take pride in the perfection of our tree. The angel on top signifies a grateful heart. I have had a star in the past (denoting generous spirit) but this year I have an angel topper, same as Joyce and Rachael said they had. Finally, for your song, again you chose like me with Night,Oh, Holy NIght, which denotes intelligence by choosing a well composed song. By also choosing Chipmunks song, it shows you have a wacky side. Same as me with my Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. I too like the Chipmunk song as well as that Adam Sandler Chanuka song. Hilarious!!
CHARLOTTE : Charlotte chose the same movie as DEB down here. So scroll down to read what I said about Family Christmas. She is the only person to say that she uses unmatched ornaments and/or homemade ones. This means Charlotte attaches sentimental meaning to the ornaments and if they are homemade, maybe she has too many children. haha. and if she is using popcorn garlands, I'd say also too much time on her hands! Her favorite song, White Christmas, depicts her as someone who is calm and contemplative. Liking Silent Night, a popular choice, shows that she craves peace and relaxation (do you have some rugrats running around, sweetie? Going back to the homemade decorations!!)
CRAIG: By liking the movie Elf, Craig shows us that he is still a kid at heart, believing in magic. It’s no wonder that he came out as Santa Claus in the other test I gave the link for. Having a perfectly adorned tree with white lights is a sign that he is a perfectionist when it comes to Christmas, and also interestingly, white lights denote a person probably of European ancestry who is either Catholic or Protestant, and one who pays close attention to all the details of his Christmas traditions. In other words, not tacky!! Finally, his favorite song White Christmas reinforces the fact that he is the traditionalist Christmas personality!
TRACIE: By choosing Love Actually, Tracie right away shows that she is a romantic! (I love that movie too, Tracie!) As with Craig, Tracie is most likely of protestant/Catholic background and a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas. Her love of the song Feliz Navidad means we can throw into the mix the fact that she is very festive in her style of celebrating! An overall very Christmassy girl!
REBECCA: Wow, another believer in magic, she chose Elf as her favorite movie. Just a kid at heart! Choosing a real tree denotes what you would imagine it to mean. She is most likely an outdoorsy type of person and/or someone down to earth and who has the Christmas spirit. The song Let it Snow shows her to be someone fond of cuddling. Cute song choice, Rebecca!
DEB W. chose National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Obviously it seems she is someone that just enjoys a good laugh, but it also could mean someone who is prone to disaster themselves. Is that true, Deb? I kind of doubt it!! Her preference for multi-colored lights inside and outside the house shows her to be an extrovert who is really into the festive side of Christmas. Finally, a girl after my own heart, she chose for her song Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, which shows a person with a sick sense of humor! Remember “sick” almost means awesome, and I too have a SICK sense of humor, Deb!! Oh, and the love of the Chipmunk song just means you are one wacky lady!!
JOYCE with her love of either the White Christmas or the Scrooge movie is a traditionalist who loves the classic things related to the holiday. By having a real tree, she is showing again her strong Christmas spirit and love of nature. The angel tree topper shows Joyce to have a strong spiritual side, someone very grateful for her blessings. Her love of the movies White Christmas or Scrooge again show her love for all things traditional and classic about Christmas!
RACHAEL shows a nostalgic or sentimental side (maybe with a silly streak) with her love for “It’s a Wonderful Life” or “Miracle on 34th Street.” Also she is a spiritual or grateful person by enjoying an angel on top of her tree. Her preference for the song Silent Night shows that she craves peace and relaxation during the holiday season and her love of The Little Drummer Boy shows us that she also craves visibility since the Little Drummer boy represents an underdog. She too supports the underdog! Interesting!
CARRIE, like Rachael, has that sentimental side with maybe a silly streak by choosing It’s a Wonderful Life for her favorite movie. Her love of a real tree for Christmas shows she is down to earth and has the Christmas spirit. By choosing Joy to the World as her favorite song, Carrie shows that even though she is traditional, she is not too serious about being traditional since that is such an upbeat song. So our Carrie, my little fellow Rudolph lady, is nostalgic and traditional and fun!
PD is the third person to choose that crazy movie Elf. Sorry, PD, I just don’t like that movie. I guess I simply can’t believe in magic the way you do!! By choosing the Charlie Brown Christmas tree, PD might be showing us she is very broke (ha ha, I just threw that in there). What it really means is that PD supports the underdog. So how is that for an accurate reading, PD? Finally, her chose of Silent Night coupled with her love of Grandma Got Run over By a Reindeer shows someone craving peace and relaxation but also with a sick sense of humor!! (like me and Deb!)
MYSELF: My favorite movie is not on the list. Actually it’s The Christmas Story, about the kid who wants a beebee gun for Xmas. I just adore that movie but I was not able to find out what that says about me. I think it is just really good humor! Like Tracy, I am also the romantic who likes Love Actually. I also love the Grinch cartoon, which is the mark of someone who breaks with convention. I have this same attitude showing in the way I decorate. I am the “whatever” person who chooses the decorations easiest to use at that time with no real care about where to put the decorations year after year. However, when I decorate my tree, I enjoy matching colors up and using one color of lights on an imitation tree, which shows I am a proud perfectionist who enjoys simplicity and/or serenity. Like Joyce, I usually put an angel on top and there is a song I like that nobody chose: Oh Holy Night. People who like that song are traditionalists with good taste in music. Seriously, that’s what I found out!! What a contrast with my love for Grandma Got Run over by a Reindeer!
