Love? Bah!

All these insipid poems of Love Love Lost…. Love Found…. What is this emotion that makes UP? Down? All this frantic fretting nail biting and bed-wetting. What is this profound poetic notion? What is the source of this commotion?? All these romantic, rabid, ramblings, of Love Love Lost.. Love Found… What is this emotion that makes UP? Down? Palms pale and sweat, brows furrow and frown. All these horrid, hormonal, tizzies, do little more than make one dizzy. Love Lost… Love Found… Abandon this morose emotion right this curse, set in motion. And, if I may, let me suggest, the route Narcissus took was best. Love revealed… Love found. A love who’ll never let you down. A love without product or prodigy To fill the world with more dichotomy.

Deb. Make sense of this brain twister. God is love. Christ is the "Light "of the world and we are made from the dust of the earth...Let's see. Electrons (light) in the beginning came from God moving...around imploded nuclear parts>>first atoms. All the were elements grouped and stranded together because God loves us. So, he made bodies and a place to live. OK. So, God, love started with chemicals, functions with chemicals, and is bound by physical and spiritual laws. Chemicals are. We choose.

As a philosopher this idea intrigues me. Chemical imbalance and the racing of our hearts. I think the concept of love is the bastard child of poets :). IT is nothing more than our biology at work, and we find a way to over dramatize, over elaborate and over emphasize the notion/emotion. But then again we do that with everything, it's a nature we've developed. Best not to fight society, Tyranny of the majority (CITE: KANT) is a bitter sweet thing.

Deborah--Body chemistry at work. Oh what it does to people. Of course, I have not been immune. Just a little sheepish and amused by it all. By the way, thank-you for your comment. It is a pleasure to read your work.

Narcissum is the opposite of love, however all too common. Narcissum is being in love with your self which leaves no room for anyone else. Its also boring as hell. Ever know anyone with Narcissistic Personality Disorder? This just makes me cringe.

Aaah, Deb, but narcissism is so boring! It's like having a gift box with no gift within and no pretty strings or bow! LOL It's like having plain tea minus the sugar or honey! LOL Great write though! And what is this about Jimi's Naplan Scream??? My SM doesn't work so forgive me for using this medium to ask about that. Peace and love, Audrey
