For Margarita Lillico's Picture Prompt Poetry Contest

A clever, caged yellow canary tricked his foe, a cat big and scary. He flew out with some luck. Cat walked in and got stuck. Silly cat should have been more wary.

Andrea, very good indeed. Simple and direct explanation of the odd circumstances of the picture!! Like the rhymes as well. Speaking of which, hope you are well. It's very difficult to stay on top of all the work that's posted by poets we like to read. I give you a lot of credit for the great job you do.
