 From Phyllis Babcock I was born on May 21, 1951 in Saskatchewan, Canada. With Al, my husband I currently reside in Regina, Saskatchewan Canada. We have two wonderful sons Kerry and Ryan. My oldest son Kerry who is happily married to Patti Smith (not the singer). Ryan is to be married to Jen who has given me two beautiful girls (Amber and Megan) from a previous marriage. Ryan and Jen gave me a beautiful grandson Rylan. Kerry and Patti gave me another beautiful grandson Aaron .
This is one of the absolute best things in life. When I first joined the soup, poetry was my means of self expression. I had no former training but was amazed at all the forms of poetry that exist. Initially, I had doubts about my writing ability. However you all made me feel I had something to contribute. I am so thankful for that! I am a Christian with hopes for a better peaceful world. I am very conservative, a bit of a perfectionist, I try to be funny but I think I fail horribly. I have a soft heart and I am open and honest.
