going through my post-masteral notes in psychology, i found a volume of fun, scientific personality games created by experts...

this one is enjoyable; you’ll be surprised to see parts of you that are TRUE..

no NEGATIVE analysis here, so let’s play!.. i will leave this for a while so lots can join in... i’m sure some will just wait for the results, but i’ll only give out the findings
in a different way.. how? SECRET!. ..here goes:

*think of how it would feel to be an international best- selling artist... you have been asked to finish your debut CD.. the only thing left is for you to decide on is the design of the cover..
what type of visual will you pick for the cover?

1. A soothing photo taken from some exotic location.

2. A playful cartoonish illustration or some fun images.

3. An abstract pattern; one that will make people think.

4. A picture of yourself.

do answer what’s closest to your heart; not what you feel is
correct. .. for starters, i chose no.3.. yipers, it’s pretty much RIGHT( more than i could ever admit, lol)! ...

Well, I kinna like #1. i just love exotic places. I have been married for 38 years and every day I see my wife as a very exotic person. Guess I am still deeply in love. A very lucky guy am I!!

Ok, so I guess I would have to be a 4. No cartoons(though I like cartoons) and nothing abstract. It would be a folkish type album with me on the cover at a rural location. Like me walking through an old dried up creek bed, or sitting on the porch of a run down general store, or fishing on the bank of a muddy river. I had a cousin who was big in the music industry, Levon Helm...he died recently. His album, "Dirt Farmer", if you know it, would be sort of my speed. So, I reckon I'm a 4.

And hey, if you've never checked out Levon Helm, go to his official site and read his biography. He was a super cool guy. I was able to meet and talk with him on only a few occasions...at family reunions. I kick myself in the butt for not trying to get to know him better. He had, after all, a huge impact in the music world....read his bio!!

I'm reading all these and seeing that Drake was the only one that said 2, same as me! I don't even really go for two since I would not want a cartoon on my cover. Just something different and none of these really cover it, Nette. My personality is the rarest of all the types when I do the color code test, a test that rates one's personality based on his or her inner motivations. I guess I don't take myself all that seriously. My personality's motivation is to just have a peaceful stress free fun life. so I will wait to see what your test reveals.

I have to say #4. When I buy a cd I like to see what the artist looks like. Therefore, if I was putting out a cd I would like the buyers to place my face with the music.

I often make CD's for my family....(video movies of our gatherings, put to music)......and usually use a scenic picture, that is altered in some way in an abstract style (if that makes sense).....so it would be a combination of #1 and #3. For instance the river in our hometown was used as the cover, however I enhanced the photo by changing it to look a bit blurry and sketched, rather than a photograph (photo-shopped)

Nette, I honestly don't know how to answer this one. I definitely would not pick # three. I like all the others. If I go by the covers of my chapbooks I have had done for me: I guess they are closer to # two than the others. I had one chapbook with a beautiful unicorn. Unicorn book two was a gypsy woman on the cover with the unicorn. Another one was the picture of a muse, half naked. Another one was a big heart with flowers around for my love of Etheree. And another one was for my Cheshire Chuckles book, a cute cheshire cat in a tree.

I would choose 4, because we are talking one's own creations, and people like to relate to that situation.. all the others may seem like the logical way to go.... but no not my way direct truth of any matter is more important...

Now, my curiosity is really stirred. I was leaning on 4 since, hey, this is my debut CD! On second thought, I make cartoon strips as a hobby, so I guess that would be my choice. I'm all in for no.2. Can you tell us really soon?

Yikes Nette! None of these choices remotely appeal to me. My visual would be: 4. A partial photo of myself (that spells mystery – I could care less about the location) standing in front of 1. A dark grey stormy photo (not entirely soothing) with just a glimmer of sunlight that is uneasily detected that would 3. Keep people thinking. BUT 2. Is definitely out –no cartoons (funny because cartoon programs are situated high on my viewing list). Well… I guess I fail.
