Mirror of my Mind

The mirror of my mind,
reflects the years of my heart
leaving my face a wilderness
of weathered wrinkles
caused by the deluge of memories
seen on the reflecting surface
of smooth black glass
that lays in the darkness
of my mind's shadowy mystic mystery
where I see the reflection of my soul
surrounded by faces from yesterday
spinning in deeper realms
of concentric circles carrying refracted thoughts
to my mirror's glass
each time I looked inward
and see the face of my soul looking back
in the mirror of my mind
