3 Life Lessons From A Falling Leaf | Heartstone Journey

Month Ten ushers in a lustrous mystique Where the blooming of hues unfold at last As October lacquers tall elms quite sleek An autumn’s radiant view unsurpassed By other cycles, their tints paling fast. But could I ignore the dance of a leaf Cascading with violas brushed in gold-- Lovers tasting the quiet of relief A contentment lit amidst north-winds cold… How fall disarms, its essence I behold! 10/18/2020 Autumn Poetry Contest of Francine Roberts

Congratulations on your win. I love your line, "Cascading with violas brushed in gold--" I love the pretty colors of the leaves. I hate to see it all go. Enjoy your win and day writing away...................

Beautiful picture of autumn, Nette. "October laquers tall elms," "dance of a leaf" "lusterous mystique" all capture the spirit of this colorful season. Best wishes for the conest!
