    Very nice haiku. My apologies for not being around for a while. I've made a major but temporary move to the NW corner of the USA. Adjusting is more difficult than I thought it would be. However, I'm recovering slowly, slowly ... Jack

    Ahh!! Enjoyed reading this one today..I am glad that I chose it to read..I can remember going to try to pick a few wild blackberries or dewberries..Those cobblers were wonderful made from the berries..Sara

    For me this is a splendid example of haiku. I could just picture them there on the grass and the basket perhaps overturned nearby! or maybe the berries are still in the basket and they are just waiting there to be retrieved.Congrats on your win in my contest.
