Nightfall
it is nightfall when dipped sunset
gives way to the brilliance of moonglow
against heaven’s trail —
an eve's framework lightly studded
in pearled dew...
birdsong humming a tender chorale
as orchids unfold
into warm movements of restful gasps…
until fingers wrap into prayers
and bodies surrender
through the nocturnal kiss of peace.
