Seeking rest from the city’s bray
Our farm lures with environs’ display.
Tendrils of wheatgrass , herbs may lean quite low
Amidst violets in bloom
Yet, the view marks grandeur.

I watch hornbills reel through the night
and by the porch, misty air soft--
As if to lift blitheness aloft
cleansing this mind with days ‘ delight.

awaiting birds’ rhapsody~
hush of evening’s call
