Chirps

Songbirds loose small chirps,
Tiny enough to slip through
Momentary rain.

WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY

Oh! DIL-DAL-HOLOM
I am a herdsmen today
she’s away, I play
. .
what does the fox say
do-do-Die-da-die I ate
poor poor sheep and kines
. .
where are? Sure no harm
there by stream or in the barn
what does the fox say
. .
I lie-a lie-lie
the milk does gives me away
Oh! DIL-DAL-HOLOM
the funny sound - Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding!

Caturday

                                laying down for nap
                                 stretching out long
                                 sleepy orange kitty

                              snow sprinkles down
                               paw prints all around
                                  kitty runs to hide

                                 longing to get out
                            watching birds and squirrels
                                  oh, no, hot paws

                            coming thru the trees
                                 lights turn on
                               cat eyes shinning

                              look into the sky
                                 wild and free
                          bobcat on mountain top

                            moonlight stars twinkle
                             prowling the night skies
                           morning light cat sleeps

                             morning walking path
                               sun gets in eyes
                             lingering heat cat sighs
