Notes Of A Sonnet

Chaos silence my spirit leaves to fly beyond the desolate need nonchalance complete of jeweled light where darkness, despair has left my side Sweet breath of wisdom and lessons fair gather in solace where pain not dare I greet this rhapsody as if to know that eternities fire in him bestow To touch my soul to him beloved in luster a flight of steadfast love

this is imbued with such positiveness, and has such a beautiful quality, Rick. Glad I finally took a closer look at the list to read some of the winners. Congratulations. by the way, read Shadow's blog! She has decided to let partners in her contest both enter the same poem. I think she will judge the poems she likes twice like the other contest about Halloween is doing. Good luck to us both!!! (I still have not posted mine, but I will soon!!)

something about this one that I really liked; it's simple in a way, and yet has depth...I particularly liked that last stanza; I just had a little niggle about "where pain not dare", maybe 'doesn't dare' would sound better? it's quite a spiritual piece - congrats on your win in my contest :)
