No rose without thorns

her bud a treasure
with a hidden mystery
shrouded in green
concealing her strength
weakness and own history

her bending leaves reveal
her brilliant color
from timid to dazzling
with greatest appeal
and a growing collar

an overwhelming scent
with the greatest temptation
vividly spread
in her paced environment
a silent sensation

her stem the bearer
with cast-iron thorns
in the same color green
her apparent signal
clearly warns

the thorns
and their rose
intensify each other
sharp tips color and scent
shaded in a more sensible hose

a rose
is not just a rose
she unites
her beauty and her beast
she shares and shows
