My House

There were no fine carved,
silver spoons, no grand
cotton sofas or comfortable
chairs, just the dust of
many old rooms that
were dark and vacant...
Yet, I could feel there was
someone in the house.

The rooms had a brown
tint and the shadows were
blackish red ... I was at
the bottom of the stairs
and walked up slowly to
the first flour. Petrified, I
continued. The doors to
the rooms were open, so
I slowly went inside sensing
a presence. There was
someone lurking in one
of the closet but i couldn't
see them. So, I quickly left
that room and started for
the next.
I awoke abruptly from the
dream feeling terrified.
