Can you imagine how faithful Job was?
He didn’t know why he was tested, because
he was totally ignorant of Satan’s insistence.
This manslayer could harm him even at a distance.

This rebellious angel wanted to believe,
that if he took away everything, God--- Job would leave.
Then, as he remain faithful even though all was taken,
the devil stole his health, to see if God he’d forsaken.

As if that weren’t enough, ---what an insult,
his so called friends said he was at fault.
In all his distresses, Job did not give up.
His integrity was proven without any doubt.

After a time, for his “friends” he implored,
then God blessed him more than he had before.
Today, Satan’s tactics still haven’t changed,
therefore, in God’s love, we try to remain.

How true this poem is? When life is difficult and gets you down you just think about the life of Job and it should help pick you up again !!!

We discussed this today at church, how Satan and his demons are out there to test us. Good job with Job and rhyming his story in this tale.

There`s nothing to add but to agree with those who have written their kind comments on your profound poem below. And keep on writing your rhymed lines, you`re getting away with it. Good luck! Thanks for your comment. Oleg

Excellent words herein. Job is one of my favorite, "perfect" men. He stayed strong even when life was so bad that he wanted to die. Very nice poetry. (soup mail)
