A Little Angels Wish

These little hands
Have found happiness,
She has captured
What we have yet to learn.

These little hands
Catch a world of wonder,
Behold the beauty
That we cannot discern.

For all the love
Her little heart can spend,
I wish that someone
Could please the truth she yearns.

For all the hope
Her heart is now rejoicing,
Take what she is giving,
Fair future seeks it's turn.

Just finished reading Andrea's poem. Great minds must really think alike. I can really see her, particularly in the beginning, the wonder of a hand, followed in the second half by the wonder of a heart. Both appear pure and lovely, adding a dimension unspoken; something that always appeals to me. Thank you very much for your recent comment! Wishing you a wonderful New Year's.

I love the simple style of this one and how you did not take the butterfly so literally as I did. Gosh, I loved the picture but I am so dang literal, I stared and stared at it and I only could come up with that sonnet about butterflies and comfort. good grief.

Andrea, I love where you take inspirations and draw them into your heart, back into your life with so much emotion--I envy your style and love your fresh and realistic view of life---thank you, but being literal rules the same!! I am honored by your compliment!

Lovely verse Craig. So gentle and simply spun, but so expressive and delicious to recollect. Merry Christmas.
