first of all I must apologise for not finalising my contest yet, I haven't abandoned it and I will get there soon, I promise. I set the contest just around the time when the contest rules were changed, I expected it to be completed within a couple of weeks and at that time I would have been free to judge and finalise. Some of you may recall an earlier blog of mine about being assaulted by my boss at work. Well of course that led to me being out of work, and whilst keeping both eyes and ears open for new job opportunities, I have been working really hard converting a room at home, with the intention of setting up my own catering business as a back up plan should no job materialise. The last two weeks have been a bit mad and after several interviews I started my new job today. I'm so relieved to be back in employment, and it is a good company to work for. The down side is, I don't get paid until the end of November

Well, that's my apologies and good news...now for the cute story...

I was with Ella, my four year old niece, on Sunday. She proudly told me that she could count to ten in French. She is a bright little thing so I could quite believe it. "Shall I count for you?" she asked, and proceeded to do so. It went like this ... one la, two la, three la ... ... ... nine la, ten la. Ha ha, it was so cute .
