Sweet Interludes

In slumber’s hold, love’s dream remains secure,
untainted by tomorrow’s blighted days
and quiet dark yields visions to procure;
infusions, gently seeping as she lays
in tranquil seas. Poetic verses rise
to take her soul with rhythmic tenderness,
caressed by subtle rhyme she reaches highs

...sweet interludes of pure exquisiteness.

Sharon, this poem takes me to places I desire to be and never to return. It leaves me as a reader to take these interludes further in my mind. This is beautifully stunning >> James
