where i live, older teeners and young adults thrive on a  lifestyle that reeks of pop culture, not to mention the way they seem to ride high come party-gig-chill time… my nephew of 20--- and most ‘humanoids’ their age--- start their fest at 11pm and go home around 7 am the next day.. yes, they muti-task, attending at least 3 events  at such given time.. okay, I have done that but not on a regular basis… these kids and yuppies end their gimmicks around 5am ,then stall a bit to take their breakfast in some 24-hour resto… the next day, they sleep a rip van winkle , only to wake up around dinner…  what?...yipers!


my mom used to ask me when i was 19, the dreaded question: “ where were you last night?( as i slipped in around 3am)… feigning sickness, once, i said i had a fainting spell that made me stay longer in my gang mate’s house (not!)…



 really, “ where were you last night, sweety soupers?”...                                           spill for fun!..lol

I wish I had more time for soup these days. I dont even have time to write :( I have been dealing with some things and hope that things slow down with school and the kids.. How have you been? I will try to catch up soon. Have a great night! cory

rousted by police in Nairobi, Kenya, because the bus touter(conductor) wasn't wearing a vest. Everyone had to get off the bus and walk down the shadowy road...I whistled...& thought..."this would make a great write!"

carol.... i am wondering too how the young kids can spend their nights painting the town red, and that's at least twice a week!... i love your horse rides.. it's one thing i tried but never got the hang of it!..:) huggs

okay... i had this urge ( or compulsion) to check the midnight sale of 2 big shopping malls here.. i was pooped but enjoyed the fair's maze and discounted goodies!..:)

Oh I'm a morning girl, I don't think I ever pulled an all nighter except maybe in college after taking LSD [duck] I write till 8pm ish and watch TV & cuddle the cat till 11pm! Up at 7am..I love dawn on trip days I usually leave at 4 am.

I was home and went to bed early while my Hubby surfed the internet for his favorite plastic modeling sites. I definately know I'm getting old... but was never a party hound, or wild thing... Tho when I was 21 I hound horses... The peaceful afternoon ride thru the woods became my greatest joy... As I told my son(a true party person)... you won't find yourself in... parties, alcohol and drugs... and a wild life is interesting, but don't get lost in it... You have a home and life needing exploration, roo.
