You Both Call But I See Only You

I give you devils
Exactly what you expect of
Each other in
The eyes of each other
Through the tongues of each other you
Fall so madly in love with
Your anger and your hatred and
You try to drag me down into it
Alongside you
Why… I’m your blood?!
No it was never that the devil
Wants more souls to ferry into the abyss
And I am that frozen wild thing on the bough of that ship
On the cusp of nowhere
Fading away into what once was through
The movement and lost rhyme of nothing matters…
don’t call me
I don’t love you
Never have and baby I never will
Mother my mother YOU are my mother
When I don’t need you to be
I wanted you to carry me through life with love and devotion and
YOU _____!
You abandoned me! Your son
I hate you.
I will hate you till the days
Of my last waking moments…

Sympathy...all I can offer. Passionate: one can certainly feel the intensity. Felice Ano Nuevo. daver

A good venting...some powerful lines "I am that frozen wild thing on the bough of that ship On the cusp of nowhere" yet all this anger usually hurts the already hurt one more than the one who did the harm. Light & Love

A perceptive write. Recognizing the foe.Anger. and through whom or where it is perceived to come and it's origin. Like those lines"the devil wants more souls to ferry into the abyss. Am I that frozen wild thing on the bow of that ship ..on the cusp of nowhere fading away into what once was..Cool, Joseph. enjoyed.Perhaps you may want to check out a somewhat related poem of mine recently posted? "ever present danger". Again thanks for your comments and have a great day. - Robert.

Hi Joseph - I can see that is a deep scar there - They say time heals all wounds but I got a couple time hasn't even come close to yet bro - I reckon we all do Joseph - Do you know what the best part of hitting bottom is - of course you do - Once you hit the bottom there is only one way left to go - You know you are in my prayers Joseph and I do hope that things get back on track soon my friend - God Bless, mj
