Winter is a bear.
Her newest coat is polar white.
In sunlight she is blinding bright.
When she is hungry, she will growl.
Sometimes at night you hear her howl.
Winter bear plays.
She loves the snow and ice and cold.
Her roar is always loud and bold.
She moves so very, very slow.
Oh, when will that bear ever go?
Winter bear sleeps.
Her thickest blanket covers all.
Just like a cozy frozen shawl.
Her nap’s too long. It’s so not fair.
I want to shout out, “Wake up bear!”
