White Thunder

Bitter snow crowds the dark black night
My feet are frozen in this plight
Black French boots no more a delight
Cold crowding sight, cold crowding sight

My feet are frozen from the ice
Small acorns of snow fall like rice
From now on just exact the price
Snow can entice, snow can entice

White thunder of evening display
For only to God do you pray
White beauty proceeds into day
Always to play, always to play

I am glad that I read this poem today. It is hot, but I can imagine myself with my feet frozen in ice; in the black of night with bitter snow, whereas the sun is overhead and very bright. Very imaginative!
