Please forgive my ugliness inside,
wounds that seep like nothing to hide.
multitudes of scars and wide open sores,
but who's counting? I ain't keeping scores.

I even get stares from strangers you see,
even if they are all inside of me.
Others sense my ugly side,
But still I hold these wounds with pride.

My heart is made of sharp shards of glass,
shattered from lovers from an unfortunate past.
Superglue won't do the trick,
the adhesive for some reason won't magically stick.

The sharp shard keep poking reopening the brain,
I'm now so use to the pain
So don't get the impression to feel sorry for me,
what happened is just part of history.

Each shard is a crystal which has its own shine/the magic of mirrors, the strength of a spine/ each tiny jewels in facets abides/ stimulating your empathy, holding the tide/So from these shards a mosaic occurs/of a beautiful woman and all will concurr! SMOOCH Light & Love

yes they are ugly on the inside. they look at you and then decide. they should all hide their prejudice and show a little love. a lot less defences the peace of a dove. then i'll show the smile on my face and the beauty of my love inside. i want to give you something of me. not just run and hide.

A poem just for you: There are skeletons in us all Some that haunt as they did Paul But, deep in souls of those redeemed Is a heart highly esteemed
