Thoughts of The Day

"In these seems
 politicians without a decent vision
 are on their right track.."

"If you leave your morals and ethics back home`ll face a great career in your life"

Inspired by the news of a politician over here which "unfortunately" has handed out
money under the table.Im SO happy that the taxes we pay are in `good-hands`...

There are no honest politicians anymore. You have to be sold to the highest bidder to win and then you owe them while in office. We haven't had integrity in Washington since the late 70s and little between that and the 1860s.

Same goes for here in America... Its getting worse my brother... Now to the Fab Four.. No I don't think we will have a band with so much tallent like that again...Paul , John and George could have ha there own band and still made it.. My life has always mirrored their songs as Im sure many others feel the same.. I once got a comment on here where the poet said my work seeme Lennon like, that comment is worth all the book sales for a life time... They are Poets of a generation....

It's a shame we cannot trust our elected leaders. I have no idea who I'm going to vote for in our presidential election. When so many around the world wish they had the right to vote, I have the right and don't want to although I's sad. Thank you for reading my work today. I always love to read your kind and encouraging words. Blessings, Rhonda

Arild, I think the concept of an "honest politician" is an oxymoron. Very well stated! Morals and ethics seem to mean little to electd officials. Our tax dollars are not in "good hands." Great poem! Love, Carolyn
