The scale of choice

A heavy block rests on the scale
Tipped down with dark shadows
Raining tears
Spinning to infinity
Like a massive hurricane
Piles and piles of *****swirl around
Riding on a low depression
Squashed and pounded together
Slapping on to the walls,
In huge, filthy lumps.
The middle is void and where the victim resides
Weighed down by misery
Accepting pain
Dwelling in darkness willingly
The victim moans, pitifully.

A ball bounces on the scale
It knows it is outweighed
Scarred from great falls, it formed layers of skin
It is filled with the air of acceptance
With Calm, still, breath of relief
It contains forgiveness
it accepts its own weaknesses.
There is bravery inside
In the center a soldier dwells
Hands on hips, sword in hand
Awaiting the battle ahead
It has fought the kicks
It has no amour to protect it
But it knows how to bounce
The survivor stands.
The end
