The real Hell

The real Hell

Have you ever stopped to wonder
What it is within your psyche
That gives you thoughts so endlessly
On likes and do not likes
The answer is within you
You turn your back on that
Trying to make your life secure
It seems that’s where you’re at.

Wanting is the curse of all
For it is never still
It just wants, and wants, and wants
And I guess it always will
Cause one want gone, another comes
That’s the nature of desire
Until it fills your life with stress
Creating such a fire,

The gates of hell so spoke about
Is a place made of desire
It’s mighty flames destroy it all
It’s such a potent fire
One must become the phoenix bird
And rise above the flames
Yet most they burn within the fire
And no one is to blame.
