The Price Of Fame

As the most costly item in the world,
As the most expensive jewel in the world,
As the most valued asset in the world,
How high do we know is the price of fame?
To be rich beyond comprehension?
To be known throughout and across the galaxy?
To be remembered for all eternity?
How high do we know is the price of fame?
The destruction of a family?
The loss of our humanity?
Divine rejection from the Lord?
How high do we know is the price of fame?
Is it worth losing one's soul?
Is it worth hell on earth?
Is it worth the damnation and condemnation?
The path to hell is quite broad
But fame's path to hell happens to be broader
Violence and hate conveyed through music
Immorality conveyed through movies
Decadence and licentiousness in the novels
When will the madness and decay end?

When all fame, wealth and greed blend?
How high do we know is the price of fame
Bedridden with insomnia
Kleptomaniacs drinking their own insanity
How high do we know is the price of fame?
Quite high i would say,
But then again, you can find
Just be warned, you'll never be the same
Once you know the price of fame.

Very interesting. I think the price is higher than we will ever want to know. God Bless, Avis
