along the straight long country lane ahead men mark over 400 trees yellow warning signs tomorrow temporarily roadblock between 5 o'clock until daylight disappears bare trees roughly marked thick white stripes painted numbers tomorrow's open air woodcutter's schedule next week when I return 400 trees will be gone their emptiness will show so much more than just woodcutter's job done their wideness will reveal so much more than just an open view missing trees will reveal so much more than just remains of a former queue @Ellie Daphne

    I know how you feel on my drive to work I used to enjoy the trees from an apple orchard, then in a day they were all chopped down to make way for a housing development. I was overwhelmed with a deep sadness.
