Slowly Mark Me

If I fall face first into fresh mountain snow
And clouds that fly race to lightning flame
Will I still be below
And look up to knighted wings
Sound of wood clamoring broadly
And slowly mark me
As I face my tears in my dirty palms
Of submission and bloody rivulets of want
Will they wait those who of old
Profane a combined duty
To gather fruit from fallen trees
Kings to rightful rule eye the rose of war
If I in fallen state unplug and regenerate
To walk in soiled feet greet at the reward
Be framed simple or pressed to dress
In whiteness bliss resist the song
I tell the grass in hand my calling
And welcome winter falling falling falling

beautiful poem, well written. In such a windy and snowy day, reading this piece just completes my relaxation. What a poem!
